When Krsna Das Kaviraj Goswami wanted to write in glorification of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu he started out by going to the temple of Radha Madan Mohan and praying to Them.

mat sarvasva padam bojau
radha madana mohanou

"Glory to the all merciful Radha and Madan Mohan. I am lame and ill advised, yet They are my directors and Their lotus feet are everything to me."
Srila Prabhupad said:

"Worship of Madan-Mohan is on the platform of reestablishing our forgotten relationship with the Supreme Personality of Godhead. In the beginning of our spiritual life we must worship Madan-Mohan so that He may attract us and nullify our attachment for material sense gratification. This relationship with Madan-Mohan is necessary for neophyte devotees. "
